Gunners target Malaga starlet

|

Arsenal are preparing a summer offer for £5 million-rated Malaga attacking midfielder Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez, a.k.a Isco.

According to The Daily Star, Arsene Wenger wants to sign the 19-year-old as the Frenchman looks to rebuild his squad for next season’s campaign, having gone another one without silverware.

Despite his tender age, Isco, who signed for Malaga from Valencia for €6 million last summer, has been a regular for the La Liga outfit this season, making 18 appearances and bagging 3 goals and one assist along the way.

The Spain Under-21 international is known for his pace, skill and great movement off and on the ball.

Isco still has four-years left on his existing contract with Malaga, and it’s thought that there is a release clause in his deal of €20 million for his first season at the Spanish club, which will reportedly rise to €24 million in his fifth term at La Rosaleda.
