Taye Taiwo’s agent, Fabio Parisi, has recently admitted that a move away from AC Milan could still happen this month, as bids from England and France have been confirmed.

The 26-year-old left-back, who moved to AC Milan from Marseille in the summer transfer window, has struggled to attain first-team football at the San Siro, making just 4 appearances out of a possible 18 in the Serie A so far.

However, Parisi has revealed to Italian publication Calciomercato that there have been bids made for the powerful Nigerian international from clubs in England and France, and that they (Parisi and Taiwo) are assessing the situation very carefully:

‘It is not certain that he stays with Milan. We are assessing the situation well. I can confirm bids from France and England.’

Taiwo has been linked with Premier League trio Arsenal, Newcastle and Chelsea in recent weeks, but it seems highly likely that he will join QPR on a six-month loan, as a deal has been agreed and is very close to be being finalised,

With what I’ve been told by several friends and people on Twitter, I hope Arsenal aren’t one of the teams from England that have made an offer for Taiwo’s services – even though we are in desperate need of a full-back.
