Wolves are reportedly interested in a double loan deal for Arsenal starlets Francis Coquelin and Emmanuel Frimpong in January.

The young duo, who featured in the game against Greek giants Olympiacos on Tuesday night, have attracted the attention of Wolves boss Mick McCarthy after putting in a great shift in the 1-0 Carling Cup defeat to Manchester City last week.

McCarthy believes that whilst Arsenal are currently using the duo as bit-part players, both could essentially give his squad a much needed boost come January through to the end of the season.

When asked if any potential deal could be done, McCarthy told reporters:

‘If it can be done, we’ll do it.’

First-team experience is certainly something Coquelin and Frimpong could benefit from, and I for one believe a temporary move for both youngsters to the West Midlands club, or any other one in the Premier League for that matter, would do them wonders.
