Just how long will we have to wait to see this forward given a proper run in the side?

Arsenal fans have been eager to see more of new signing Park Chu-Young after his impressing on the international scene with South Korea and also his goal in the Carling Cup win against Bolton. However, Arsene Wenger is urging fans to be patient:

‘It has been difficult because I have not given him the chance to play and the intensity of the challenges – some players take short, others take long. But it takes you time.’

The thing is we are currently missing players with that cutting edge in front of goal and personal feel that Park Chu-Young is one that could help RVP upfront with some goals. I understand that Wenger wants to give him time to adjust to the Premier League, but surely by not playing him he isn’t going to adjust or get used to the hardships of the English game.

It appears that we are going through a tough time once again following a disappointing result against Wolves yesterday, which failed to see Arsenal capitalise and bag all three points. Instead we did things the hard way and ended up with a poor 1-1 draw.

Wenger desperately needs the January Transfer window to come around, and he needs to stop being so protective over potential match winners, for example Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Park Chu-Young. Many Arsenal fans, including myself, have been desperate to see the two players acquire some game time after impressive outings already this season. However, currently we are left wondering if we are going to see these guys in action at all this season.

Would I have picked Marouane Chamakh over Park Chu-Young? No, and I would have preferred to see Oxlade-Chamberlain come on instead of Andrey Arshavin yesterday, but once again we were left scratching our heads over Wenger’s decisions.

Wenger, please, please, please give Alex and Park a run in the first-team – they can’t be as bad as what you put on instead of them.

couldn’t agree more mate. also like our starting 11 with rosicky starting ahead of ramsey. while i like the young welshman, i feel he often gives the ball away cheaply and doesn’t yet have the experience/vision to play that final ball or create real chances up front. get big gunners!

So why persist with woeful Walcott match after
match when he clearly isn,t capable of scoring
any where near enough goals to take the burden of
goalscoring off van Persie ,and i agree Ramsey is
overrated etc. with Rosicky and ben Ayoun way mo
re experienced in the Premier League but still
these two experienced mature players are kept on
    the bench,rather strange ?

I’ld prefer playing rosicky or benayoun in place of ramsey if i were wenger but u c i’m not him.

All our problems will disappear in the transfer window just a couple of players are needed ie, Gotze and Poldolski I say that is £50 million well spent.

  • William says:

Rosicky and Benayoun are looking good and defend better since they run a lot but Ramsey and Walcott are the ones who find RVP easily. Maybe with more games under their belts Rosicky and Benayoun will get used to RVP movements and runs

  • Anon says:

We do not have 50 million to spend!

Gotze does not want to come to us and i doubt we will even get podolski … wenger will go for another chamakh/ park type player on the cheap who will end up not playing !

Wenger and the board are slowly killing us… not spending and selling our best players every year
