Celebrity Arsenal fan Ian Stone believes Thierry Henry could replicate what Henrik Larsson did for Manchester United at Arsenal.
Speaking on talkSPORT’s Hawksbee and Jacobs Sports Show, the British comedian said:
‘I think that he [Henry] is an excellent player.
‘He’s obviously not going to be the same player as he was five years ago. Even when he turned up for Barcelona he was carrying a bit of timber.
‘But, he’s still got to be better than Chamakh? You’d imagine.’
Stone then went on to suggest that the Legendary Frenchman could still do a job for Arsenal and have the same sort of impact at the Emirates as Swedish star Henrik Larsson had at Old Trafford back in 2007:
‘I think in the same way Henrik Larrson scored quite a few important goals for Manchester United for half a season, I think Henry can do that for Arsenal.’
He concluded by saying:
‘As a sort of stop gap for a 3-4 month thing he’s not bad. He’s still fit and I’m sure he can still do a job.’
