FC Dallas winger/striker Brek Shea is keen on extending his stay at Arsenal after training with the club during the MLS off season.

The 21-year-old scored an impressive 11 goals in 31 matches last season for Dallas coming in from the left-side of midfield and the youngster has admitted that he learnt a lot from watching Arsenal star Robin van Persie train.

Shea said:

‘I enjoyed my stay and can see myself living there in the future. Watching Robin van Persie practice was unbelievable and hopefully I can learn from that.’

Another MLS star – Thierry Henry – has also been training with the Gunners recently.

This would be huge for US Soccer. The ambition and ability becomes more honed. This is why Dpnavan loves going to Everton, it upped his game. His size and spped would be well done there at Colney
