1. Wigan got just their second win of the season with an injury time winner against Sunderland in their last Premier League outing.

4. Franco di Santo’s goal was his fourth of the season from 23 attempts, including 70% on target. Di Santo has averaged 4.78 miles per game so far this season.

6. Thomas Vermaelen scored at both ends of the pitch at The Emirates. Vermaelen has used his aerial ability to good use this season with 11 clearances in 487 minutes of football – one every 44 minutes.

8. Robin van Persie was kept quiet in the Fulham game, making it the first Premier League match that the Dutchman failed to score in since October 2nd.
