In-demand Lille forward Moussa Sow has welcomed interest from Arsenal.

The Senegal international, who has netted 5 goals in 15 Ligue 1 matches so far this season, attracted the attentions of several European clubs, which included the likes of Manchester City, Sevilla, Newcastle and Arsenal, last season with his impressive displays for the French club.

However, it seems the 25-year-old striker would only desire a move to The Emirates if he were to leave Lille in order to link up with former team-mate Gervinho:

‘I watch the games with envy on TV. I desire to play there one day. Arsenal are a big club but we will see.’

Sow’s current deal at Lille runs out in June 2013 having signed from Rennes on a free transfer in the summer of 2010.

it’s obvious you know little about football to think sow can perform better than bendtner and chamakh, i’ve watched the guy several times and he’s too ordinary bt more physical than bendy. He is not arsenal calibre. Players like Reus, podolski, Llorente, pato, De Jong, higuain are what arsenal should be talking about and not one fluke from ligue1. Gunners till i die!!!
