Arsenal are pondering a bid for Toulouse midfielder Étienne Capoue, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper claims that the Ligue 1 outfit would be willing to sell the 23-year-old French youth international if a £10 million bid was tabled by Arsenal.
Arsenal’s desire to strengthen their squad in the January market is well-known and Arsene Wenger’s side have been linked to a whole host of players in recent weeks.
The latest, Capoue, is primarily a defensive midfield player although he has scored three goals this season.
