Sebastien Squillaci (yes he’s still on our books) looks increasingly likely to be heading out the Emirates exit doors when the January transfer window opens, according to several reports.
The 31-year-old centre-back, who signed for Arsenal from Sevilla in 2010, made 32 appearances for the north London club in his debut season, but has yet to feature in the current campaign.
Unfortunately for Squillaci his Arsenal future doesn’t look bright after Arsene Wenger managed to acquire the services of German international Per Mertesacker in the summer, ultimately relegating the Frenchman to fifth choice centre-back at the club.
It is understood Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for the French international, either on a temporary or permanent deal in January, with the club valuing the ageing centre-back at around £2 million.
Nothing against Sebastien, but his time at the Emirates has run out.

Who is going to buy him even for 2M it would be great if you can get rid od him, Alumnia, Hoyte, Chamakh and Denilson, Bendther and Vela at the end of the season when the laon deasl are up.
It would clear alot of the wage bill and bring in some funds to strengthen the squad
Oh well, you win some you lose some. Unfortunately for the past 5 years most of our transfers in have been unsuccessful.
