Theo Walcott revealed that Arsenal’s run of form has given them the confidence to believe that they can beat anyone.

The Gunners have left a bad start to the season firmly behind them as they embarked on a run of eight wins in nine games to fight their way back into contention at the top of the table, after being written off earlier on in the season.

After the 3-5 victory at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea yesterday, the 22-year-old England international claimed they are not looking too far ahead, instead trying to take each game at a time as they continue their fine form:

‘We don’t want to say where we’re going to finish at the end of the season but the way we’re playing at this moment in time we believe we can beat anyone.’

‘We’re just enjoying our football, our run is great now and we’re just going to keep on continuing that.’

‘We don’t look too far ahead, we keep it in the camp and everyone is buzzing at the moment.’

‘We’re just going to keep trying to win as many games as we can. We don’t want to say where we’re going to finish at the end of the season but the way we’re playing at this moment in time we believe we can beat anyone.’

The game against Chelsea was labelled as a game that would prove if Arsenal had really turned the corner, despite the defence having an off day for both sides, Arsenal were finally able to stay composed when they went down and when Chelsea pilled on the pressure.

If we keep taking each game as it comes, and the team spirit remains high, we can beat anyone, providing we shore up our defence.

Good news and it’s a start. Now we need RVP, Song and Walcott to sign. I still think RVP might wait until the summer thoguh unless Wenger signs some top talent in Jan. Hazard, M’Villa and goetz then RVP might sign. Let’s wait and see. 4 0
