Arsenal have reportedly expressed an interest in Fiorentina midfielder Adem Ljajic.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is apparently unhappy at the Stadio Artemio Franchi this season after Viola manager Sinisa Mihajlovic considers him a bit-part player at the Florence club these days.
Ljajic’s agent, Giorgio Parretti, has recently revealed that a number of Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation very closely, but claims a move away from Fiorentina is still a long way off:
‘Arsenal, Everton and other clubs have approached for Ljajic. But it’s all rumours, there’s still a long time (before the January market).’
Since his arrival in 2009 from Partizan Belgrade, Ljajic has bagged 5 assist and 3 goals in 36 appearances for Fiorentina. He is yet to feature for the Serie A club this season.
