Arsenal are poised to make a winter move for Hannover’s 25-year-old striker Mohammed Abdellaoue.
The highly-rated Norwegian is said to be keen on a switch to North London, despite only plying his trade in the Bundesliga for two seasons.
In my opinion, Abdellaoue would make a great addition to Arsenal’s lacklustre strike force, as his game brings many goals. He netted 10 goals in 26 appearances for the German outfit last season, and has already bagged 3 goals in 4 appearances this season.
His knack for scoring goals has resulted in him being linked with likes of Arsenal and many other clubs around Europe, and his agent Stig Lillejord admits that a potential move could be on the cards in January.
Lillejord told TV2:
‘We are going to see what is to happen in the next transfer window, I am able to confirm that there are big clubs from Europe having their eyes on Moa. At this point in time the player just focuses on his football campaign.’
It is thought that the Gunners can nab the talented 5’11’’ striker for around £5 million, although, it is rumoured that an unnamed Russian club had a £10 million plus bid knocked back during the summer.
As stated earlier, I think Abdellaoue could make a great addition to the Arsenal squad, as we do lack firepower upfront, but he is hardly a star player, he is no Karim Benzema or David Villa…but he could turn out to be one.
All I can say is that, with many clubs monitoring him and his goal scoring record looking impressive, I for one certainly wouldn’t be disappointed to see him arrive at the Emirates this winter.

why would we need to buy another striker? we got young rvp walcot(when somebody finley has the bottle to play him as a forward, afobe who i think could go a long way in his career,and super fast chamakh? ok ok yes i agree we do need another striker lol.
Yeah and for sure a 10 goal a season player in German league will definitely be better than Chamakh or Bendtner?

Please don’t sign this guy. I’m norwegian myself and I don’t want to see any norwegian players at Arsenal. Sure, there are good norwegian players, but I can’t see anyone beeing good enough for Arsenal.
