Arsenal are interested in bringing in another German international to the Emirates, this time in the form of Holger Badstuber from Bayern Munich.
According to reports in Germany, Arsenal are keen on the 22-year-old, who has the ability to play either at left-back or in central defence.
The Gunners have already brought in Per Mertesacker from the Bundesliga and Arsene Wenger is likely to consult the former Werder Bremen man about his international team-mate.
Badstuber is tied down to a long-term deal at Bayern, meaning a fee of around £10 million or more could be needed for Arsenal to get their man.
