Support the team, not the player

|

Arsene Wenger’s press conference came up with an interesting item:

Due to diminishing resources Samir Nasri has been named in the squad to face Liverpool.

No matter what your personal view on Nasri’s circumstances are, he is (currently) still an Arsenal player and until Middle Eastland’s stump up the cash, the Gunners still pay him and he is still available for selection.

Obviously – following last weeks twitter outburst and his open wishes to leave the club – the fans view of the Frenchman is twisted. However, if he pulls on the red of Arsenal this afternoon, then we should all be behind him.

Above all, it’s the club that matters most and gaining 3 points against Liverpool at the Emirates is paramount.

Any barracking of Sam would be detrimental to The Arsenal!!!

Support the team. Not the player!!!

Arsene’s judgement seems to be clouded with what’s left of past glories. He is nt only selling his best players he’s also buying younger inexperenced ones…one would atleast expect arsenal’s board to do something about this as not too far into the future we may lose whatever respect we still have at this football club and be left with ancient & fast fading acolade.
