Sao Paulo whizzkid Carlos Henrique Casimiro, a.k.a Casemiro, is reportedly seeking a move to the Premier League, according to The Sun.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who can also be utilized as an emergency right-back and defensive midfielder, made 22 appearances for the Brazilian club last season, bagging 6 goals along the way.

Known as ‘The Beast’ for his no-nonsense style of play and his intimidating presence in midfield, Casemiro also possesses great technical ability and a high level of determination for such a young player. The Brazilian Under-20 international also acquires great tackling and dribbling skills, a good work-rate and the ability to score and create goals as well.

However, it is understood that Casemiro, who is due to star for Brazil in the 2012 London Olympics next year, has signed a new deal with Sao Paulo, which will keep him at the club until 2015. If this wasn’t bad enough, it is also believed that they have placed a £30 million buy-out clause in his new contract, which was evidently added in to scare off interested parties.

Arsenal, Spurs, Juventus and both Milan clubs are all thought to be interested in Casemiro, who could probably be acquired from Sao Paulo for around £15 million this summer.

This kid certainly has talent, and some pretty nifty dance moves as well, but I think the Gunners really need to focus on experience rather than adding another youth star to their squad this summer.

In any case, here is a video of the Casemiro in action:
