A £7M summer bargain for Wenger to ponder over?

|

Toulouse ace Moussa Sissoko is being chased by three Premier League clubs this summer, according to talkSPORT.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been monitoring the Frenchman’s progress in Ligue 1, and Sissoko’s representative, Lamine Drame, recently claimed that the English trio are all preparing bids for the France international this summer.

The 21-year-old midfielder, who is under contract until 2013, has been part of the Toulouse set up since 2003, but sources in France have suggested that the French outfit would be willing to listen to offers of around £7 million for Sissoko’s services.

But would this midfielder make a good addition to our squad?

In my opinion, yes he would.

His ability on the ball is phenomenal. Sissoko is also very comfortable on the ball and possesses good skill to get around players. The Frenchman also has an eye for a good pass and a thundering shot from long range in his artillery. He also has pace and high stamina levels – he simply doesn’t stop running for 90 minutes. Surprisingly, he tracks back a lot even though he is mainly used going forward.

Yes he is only 21 and everyone is calling for experience, but he might be one of those buys like Hernandez was for Manchester United last summer.

Personally, I would love to see Sissoko in an Arsenal shirt. He would provide us with options going forward and would fit right into the squad in my view. As well as that, I believe Arsene Wenger could mould him into an even better player.

I believe the French contingency at the Emirates would love to have him on board, and I think a majority of the clubs fans would welcome him to Arsenal FC.

In my opinion, at £7million, Sissoko would certainly be a bargain buy for Arsenal, it’s now up to Wenger to weave his persuasion magic and acquire the player (if he’s interested in him of course) before another club does.

Here is what Moussa Sissoko could offer the Gunners, if Wenger signs him:
