Should Arsenal loan out or sell Carlos Vela this summer?

|

Its been reported that Serie A outfit Chievo Verona are eyeing up a possible move for Arsenal’s Carlos Vela this summer, according to talkSPORT.

Reports in Italy suggest that the Italian club are now contemplating whether to make a move for the Mexican forward on a temporary or permanent basis.

It is thought that the Gunners will wait until the end of the season to hold talks over the 22-year-old’s future.

If Carlos Vela, who is currently on loan at West Brom, were to call time on his Arsenal career this summer, then it is believed that he would favour a move to another Premier League club or La Liga, where he has played in the past.

The young Mexican striker has not been able to cement a first-team place at Arsenal since signing for the club back in 2005 from Guadalajara. And with a whole host of clubs, which include the likes of Valencia, Anderlecht and Chievo Verona now looking to sign the talented youngster, Arsenal may look to cut their losses and see if they can secure a permanent deal for Vela this summer.

I personally would not see the point in keeping him at Arsenal if he is continuously loaned out year in year out. So in my opinion, a permanent move is more ideal for both parties.

I feel both the player and the club could potentially benefit from a permanent move. Carlos Vela is still young, but I still think he needs to gain more first-team experience, despite his loan spells. The Mexican should look for a club that is going to use his talents to the fullest, as it appears this isn’t going to happen whilst he is at Arsenal.

I very much doubt that we would get a great deal in terms of transfer fees for him. However, I truly believe it is time to think more about Vela’s future rather than our personal gain.

It’s difficult because he is a good player and a great finisher, but the problem is do you see him playing for Arsenal next season. I don’t think he will start so he will be wasted at Arsenal this season. We either sell him so he can go fulfil his potential or loan him out again so he can get more experience and hopefully come back the following season. It’s difficult!

Calos Vela should be sold, though personally i do not see any of the top P.L.Clubs making bids for him.I have read some of the the earlier comments made on this page, and quite honestly they are wrong in their praise and support of Vela.He has been given chances at Arsenal, and he never made the most of them. His loan period at W.B.A.has been mixed, and has just been told, that if he stays there he is by no means guarranteed a first team place. The best thing for both parties but mostly Vela’s is for him to move on,with our best wishes, and if he turns into a World Class Player, then Good Luck to him.

I agree he is a good finsher, better then Bendtner, Arshavin,,,at 22 with a huge upside. If they sell Andrey, they can get good money, by a defender and have room for Carlos.
