Bayern plot £25M summer move for contract rebel Samir Nasri

|

Bayern Munich are preparing to launch a £25 million summer move for Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri, according to The Daily Express.

New Munich coach, Jupp Heynckes, has reportedly been handed a £100 million transfer war chest to utilize this summer, as the Bavarian giants look to reclaim the Bundersliga title next season.

Samir Nasri is thought to be one of the high-profile names on their wish list this summer, and the Germans believe that they can prise the 23-year-old away from the Emirates following another frustrating and trophyless season at the North London club. A German source said:

‘Bayern are thinking big, as their interest in a number of English-based players has shown.’

Nasri, who has netted 15 goals in 45 appearances for Arsenal this season, is still yet to sign a contract extension on his existing deal, has undoubtedly left many Arsenal fans, including Arsene Wenger, speculating whether or not the France international will in fact stay at the club this summer.

Nasri’s current contract does not expire until the end of next season. However, it is believed that Wenger would rather sell the Frenchman this summer and recoup some cash on his £12 million investment, rather than lose him on a free next summer.

Clearly every Arsenal fan wants Nasri to stay at the club for a number of years to come, as the Frenchman has become an intricate player for the Gunners since joining from Marseille in 2008.

However, if the midfielder is uncertain on the club’s future and is stalling on a new deal, then perhaps Wenger should be listening to offers like Bayern’s one during the summer transfer window.

I do want him to stay at Arsenal, but if he is not interested in Arsenal anymore, then he has to go. Look at Fabregas’ performance this year, it has not been great and that is due to the fact that he wanted to move to Barca last season and we don’t won’t Nasri doing the same thing if he forced to stay. As I said before I want him to stay but I also want him to say that he wants stay at Arsenal. If he doesn’t want to stay and doesn’t sign a contract extension then you have to sell him and not let him go on a free.

There is no way Nasri should leave Arsenal especially not for £25 million, If Bayern want him they are going to have to pay for him. Turn that 25 million into 40 million and we’re talk

He can go for nothing in 12 months so £25 mil would be great business. Take the cash, f*ck him off and get footballers in not greedy cry babies like the lot we seem to have at the moment

DONT SELL NASRI! personally i dont think he wants to leave, nor do they want to sell him. I also dont think Nasri’s talks have stalled due to the issue of wages. I think he is waiting until the end of the season to discuss Wenger’s transfer market plans (that is, whether he is committed to spend some cash and strengthen key areas) and therefore gauge the role he will play for Arsenal in the future. He wants to be part of a side that is ambitious! in the end i bloody hope he doesnt, i spent good money this season to buy a nasri home jersey! 😉

Really dont want him to leave! Also I love the Samir nasri song! But if he wont sign a new contract before August he has to go. Buy a quality replacement like Juan Manual Mata!

Honestly Gooners,do not believe all that you read or hear from the Media.Bayern Munich are not interested in buying a Player like Nasri,he simply isn’t robust enough for the Bundesliga.Players like Ribery and Robbens are more their type.Remember this Gooners,in the last two games that Nasri played for us,he was caught in possesion in his own half of the field, leading to two dangerous situations for us.The reason he was caught in possesion was because he was overdoing it on the ball, trying to show how good he thinks he is,he certainly wasn’t thinking about the good of the team.If he wants to go ,good, let him go,as far as i am concerned her is the French version of Hleb

  • Peter says:

F*ck him let him go! No player is bigger than ArsenalFC! He will fail when he goes as no one even knew him before wenger got him! Let the bastard go as i hate these mercenaries! Fed up Gooner! Wenger must stop buying French players as they stir too much trouble as well! Buy english players!
