Are Arsenal’s title hopes still alive as Jack Wilshere claims?

|

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere believes Arsenal can still be crowned Premier League champions after their 1-0 victory over Manchester United at the Emirates yesterday.

The Gunners bagged an important victory thanks to a 56th minute goal from Aaron Ramsey, which has left the North London club six points behind the Red Devils with three games still to play.

Consequently, Wilshere believes that the win over the league leaders have put Arsenal back in the title hunt. After the game, the 19-year-old told talkSPORT:

‘This season’s not over yet, there’s three games left, we’ve beaten Manchester United and hopefully they can drop a few more points and we’ll see where we are at the end of the year. Obviously we’ve dropped points in the last week and it’s been frustrating but we have to believe. I don’t know how many points are in it but I know Chelsea are three points behind so it’s not over for anyone yet, we have to keep fighting until the end.’

Mathematically the title is still on for Arsenal, but they will need results to go their way as well as have a huge amount of luck on their side.

Personally, I think we will fall just short, and just can’t see Manchester United or Chelsea dropping the points required for us to be crowned Premier League champions in their last three games.

However, miracles can and do occur, so who’s to say Arsenal won’t pull their own one off come the end of this month. It’s a long shot, but with the way this season has turned out, anything is possible.

ive seen the odds of us winning the title at 100/1….it would be a miracle….realistically it may be better to buy a lottery ticket!
    But cmon gunners!!!!

Heres how we can win the league. Chelsea beat man utd @ old trafford, draw with newcastle then lose away to everton. Man utd come empty handed at ewood park for the second straight game and salvage only a meagre point on the final day against blackpool(which is possible). Arsenal on the other hand wins their final 3 matches.
And this is how its going to PAN OUT.

I would love to see Arsenal win the title but I think we have no chance. We have dropped to many points and we need Man Utd and Chelsea to have a meltdown. Unfortunately I don’t see it happening.
