Inter to offer one of three players in exchange for Cesc Fabregas this summer

|

Inter Milan are ready to offer star striker Samuel Eto’o as part of a deal to lure Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas to the San Siro this summer.

Corriere dello Sport report that the Italian champions are willing to use Eto’o, Wesley Sneijder or Julio Cesar in a part-exchange move for the highly-rated midfielder.

While Barcelona are favourites to land Fabregas this summer, they are unlikey to meet Arsene Wenger’s valuation for his skipper; meaning Inter could well persuade the Gunners board by offering the Cameroon international who has three Champions League winner’s medals to his name.

  • why swap at all since arsenal wont broke the wage structure to pay the wage of one of this 3 start player?

  • cesc says:

i agree. if wenger was willing to break the current wage structure he could up cescs wage to keep him.
if he been a little more flexible with his spending we would have kept cashly and flamingo and maybe brought in alonso.
    our loss.

  • oluakindele says:

    YES YES YES!
we need a main player in attack(eto’O).
we need a player to hold the midfield and go in attack(sneijder)
we need a go cb to hold our defence(julio).

plus lets face it cesc has just lost his touch.
and people out there, wenger can pay the wages because we are meant to be the 4 richest team in Europe.

  • Henry says:

Consider dis d youth policy of wenger could work dis way. Bendtner $15m,vela $7m my rating, chamak $10 gud buz 4 players dat cost little or no cash and use there money to sign players dat will win us trophy.

  • ”we need a go cb to hold our defence(julio).”

the inter julio is julio ceasar, a goalkeeper, not a CB.

and wenger will not going to break the wage structure to for eto , ceasar or snedjer , because he is the freaking moron that let ashely cole and flamini go because he refuse to rise their salary.

  • Charlie says:

Manchester United had a strict wage policy before breaking it to give Rooney a rise above the cap. Are they doing it wrong too ? Wenger is aware that wages will need to increase but he’s not prepared to offer wages to a reasonably decent player that exceed everyone else at the club. Flamini had one good season and wanted to be the top earner. Ashley Cole wanted to be paid a lot more than anyone else and he’s half the player that he thinks he is. We’ll see what happens with Nasri because you could argue that he deserves to be one of the top earners at the club.

Fabregas is more than three players – is one of the best

  • Robin says:

Inter only good choices – the team is exceptional … you can not not stand for!

  • Kevin says:

for me it’s more than three tymes Champions League winner – it’s a real star!
