Henry set to take on his beloved Arsenal this summer

|

Arsenal have today announced the line-up for this summer’s Emirates Cup, which will be held during the weekend of the 30th and 31st of July.

This summer’s mini competition is set to be the biggest yet due to the homecoming of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

The Frenchman is set to partake in the tournament after his MLS club, the New York Red Bulls, have officially been named as one of the three high-profile clubs to join the Gunners in this summer’s tournament. Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-German, and the most successful South American club of all-time Boca Juniors, are the other two sides set to be involved.

I’ll be honest with you guys; I don’t take too much interest in these pres-season tournaments or matches. However, having heard that my favourite player of all-time, Thierry Henry, will be making a return ‘home’, I will certainly be watching. If not from the stands, then indeed from my couch!

The Legend is returning. What a fantastic player he was for Arsenal, best striker ever to wear the Arsenal shirt. I for one will want to see the legend in the flesh and will try my very best to get tickets for the game.
