Frozen out striker expects Arsenal stay

|

Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner expects to remain at the North London club after dismissing recent reports claiming that he will be offloaded by Arsene Wenger during the summer, according to Sky Sports.

The out-of-favour striker has expressed his frustration over the lack of first-team opportunities this season, and has even threatened to leave the club as a result (we can only hope!).

The 23-year-old, whose current contract doesn’t expire until the summer of 2014, has only managed to start 3 Premier League matches to date, and has netted 9 goals in a total of 30 appearances for the Gunners so far this season.

However, the Dane insists Wenger has no intention of selling him this summer. The forward was quoted in Danish sport publication, Sporten.dk, saying:

‘I have certainly talked to Wenger. But he has not told me that I should look for a new club to play for after the summer or that he is not satisfied with me.’

So it appears Nicklas Bendtner’s future at Arsenal will remain in tact, and that he will be apart of the Gunners set-up next season. Personally, I hope this is not the case, and that the Dane is sent packing by Wenger during the summer in order to make way for new arrivals.

In my opinion, Bendtner is an average striker, and certainly one who shouldn’t be wearing the famous red and white of Arsenal. My fingers will remain crossed in hope that he is not at the club at the start of next season’s campaign, and that Wenger does us all a favour and actually offloads the forward during the summer.

I hope he leaves Arsenal because I don’t rate him, he along with numerous other players are not fit to wear the Arsenal shirt.

B52 is an awesome player when he is on song. He needs some match time and he will be productive – more productive than some of the current forwards.
B52 is a (bomber) centre forward and not a winger. He and Chamak would be great playing in the middle with Arshavin and Walcott on the wings. RVP is a great player but he seems to be a bit of a show off. Diaby has the same problem. They lose the ball because they love to do a little dribble. Wengers teams are passing teams and dribblers must come from midfield and run at the defence. The dribbling wingers must be able to attack the defence and be able to pass bothy high and low. Nasri must learn to scoop the ball over the keeper rather than shoot when one on one. It was a disaster missing an opportunity like the one against Bolton.

I together with my pals appeared to be viewing the great ideas on your website and then then I got a terrible feeling I had not expressed respect to the web blog owner for those techniques. All of the young men ended up as a consequence thrilled to learn them and have in fact been taking pleasure in those things. Thank you for actually being so helpful as well as for deciding on this kind of ideal themes most people are really eager to be aware of. My personal sincere regret for not expressing appreciation to sooner.
