Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a move for Udinese’s Gokhan Inler this summer, according to sources in Italy.
The £8 million rated midfielder has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs since joining the Serie A outfit in 2007, and talkSPORT have revealed that the Gunners are amongst the pack wanting his signature this summer.
The 26-year-old, who has missed just one league game so far this season, has managed to net 3 goals in 32 appearances for Udinese from his deep-lying position, which is not bad considering he protects a three-man defence.
The Switzerland international has been on Wenger’s radar for the past three seasons or so, and reports are now circulating that the Frenchman could step up his long-term interest with a move for the defensive midfielder during the summer.
Would Inler be a wise investment for the Gunners this summer?
