German international Lukas Podolski says he would succeed in the Premier League after being linked to both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Podolski, currently playing for Koln in the Bundesliga, has often found it difficult to replicate his form in major international tournaments to his club career. However, he believes that may change in England with either Arsenal or Tottenham. Podolski told German publication, Bild:
‘Being at Koln does me good. It’s my club, it’s my town.’
‘If it’s up to me, I’ll still be here next season. Where I’d go if I opted to leave after all?’
‘Without wanting to sound arrogant, I could succeed at a big European club, in England or Spain.’
