Arsenal target Per Mertesacker has revealed he has several offers to join the Premier League next season.
The German international has long been linked with the Gunners, while interest from Liverpool and local rivals Tottenham has increased in recent months. Speaking to Die Welt, Mertesacker said:
‘England has been an issue for a few years now, but I cannot make a decision yet.’
‘Of course the Premier League is attractive, but right now there is only one issue for me and that is avoiding the drop.’
The 26-year-old currently plies his trade for Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen.
