Leyton Orient v Arsenal – Who’s your money on?

|

Having beat Barcelona in midweek, Arsenal must now turn their attentions to the F.A Cup. The Gunners head to Brisbane Road later today to face League One minnows Leyton Orient, in what must be considered a pretty straight forward game for Wenger’s men to overcome. However, could there be a potential upset on the cards? It is the F.A Cup after all!

Arsenal are certainly in high spirits following their superb fight back against Spanish giants Barcelona. However, with Stoke City visiting the Emirates on Wednesday, and the Carling Cup final next week as well, Arsene Wenger will undoubtedly rest a few key players, which could give Leyton Orient a glimmer of hope.

Orient’s home record this season suggests that they are a tough cookie to crumble. Russell Slade’s side have only lost 2 of their 14 games at the Matchroom Stadium so far, which may have North London side, and its fans, feeling a little anxious about the tie.

Even though the O’s have been impressive at home, Bet365 can’t look beyond an Arsenal win at 2/7, whilst the League One outfit are at 17/2 to triumph, and I have to say that I am in total agreement with Bet365. I just can’t see a famous F.A Cup victory for the minnows over the rampant Gunners.

With that being said, I will be going for a 3-1 away win and Marouane Chamakh to score anytime time at 13/1. However, if you’re the type that likes to take a ‘punt’, then a 2-1 win for the O’s (as crazy as that may seem to some) looks good at 25/1.
