Manchester United v Arsenal – The THREE To Pick

|

The Premiership match at Old Trafford on Monday between Manchester United and Arsenal is one of the biggest so far in the 2010/11 Premier League season.

The Red Devils and the Gunners are playing for pride as well as a place at the top of the Premier League table, which is currently held by Arsenal. There is certainly no love lost between the two teams, something that was confirmed by Manchester United defender Patrice Evra’s comments earlier in the week. So which players will shine tonight?

Tonight you have the opportunity to play live fantasy football during the Manchester United v Arsenal Premiership fixture. If you’re new to Picklive then make sure you check out the guide about how to play and then sign up for your FREE TRIAL to give it a go!

One man who is guaranteed to get points for Manchester United and has been doing so for years is Paul Scholes. The former England midfielder is picking up points at an average of 70 a game (the highest of any Premiership footballer playing tonight) and therefore will be a shoe-in for many fantasy football managers.

Nemanja Vidic has also been a solid performer for Man United this season and the Serbian defender will be doing his utmost tonight to ensure that the Red Devils earn a clean sheet. He could even nick a goal, too, which will really bring in the points for him!

As far as Arsenal are concerned their Picklive top points this season is Cesc Fabregas, but it remains to be seen whether the Arsenal captain will be fit enough to take his place in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up. A much safer bet is Samir Nasri, who has been strutting his stuff week-in week-out in the Premiership this season and will be terrorising Manchester United’s defence tonight.

One man who managed to break the coveted 100 points barrier in Arsenal’s last match in the Champions League against Partizan Belgrade was Denilson. His accurate passing, tackling and interceptions will be vital if Arsenal are to get a foot hold in the game at Old Trafford.

So that’s the form guide for you, with Scholes, Vidic and Nasri coming out on top but who do you think are the three Premiership players to watch tonight and who will you be picking in your Picklive Trio?
