The hoodoo has officially ended and Arsene Wenger will be delighted with the result and performance last night.
It was a psychological boost for Arsenal and it would have been an absolute travesty had they not picked up the 3pts, after a confident and assured display. The performances of Djourou and Walcott in particular played a big part in the victory that took Arsenal up to second place in the Premier League table.
